Welcome to the Net Zero Awards for Excellence website (the "Site"), organised by Green Council ("we," "us," or "our"). By accessing our Site, creating an account, or submitting an application for the awards program, you (and the organisation you represent) agree to be bound by these Terms of Use.

Acceptance of Terms

By submitting an application or paying an enrollment fee, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years of age and possess the legal authority to bind your company or organisation to these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy.

Eligibility

Participation in the Net Zero Awards for Excellence is subject to the eligibility criteria outlined on our Site. We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to verify eligibility and to disqualify any applicant that does not meet the criteria or violates these Terms.

Submissions and Accuracy of Information

When submitting an entry, you agree to the following:

• Accuracy: All information, operational data, and metrics provided in your application are truthful, accurate, and complete.

​

• Originality: Your submission does not infringe upon the intellectual property, privacy, or other rights of any third party.

​

• Substantiation: You agree to provide additional documentation or evidence to support your application if requested by the judging panel.

Fees and Refund Policy

• Payment: All enrollment and assessment fees must be paid in full by the stated deadlines. Applications will not be processed or evaluated until payment is cleared.

• No Refunds: All fees are strictly non-refundable. This applies regardless of whether your application is shortlisted, whether you win an award, or if you choose to withdraw your application at any stage of the process.

Judging Process and Finality of Decisions

• Evaluation: Applications are evaluated by an independent judging panel based on predefined criteria published on our Site.

• Final Decisions: The decisions made by the judging panel and the Awards Committee are entirely subjective, final, and binding.

• No Appeals: Decisions are not subject to appeal, review, or correspondence. We are under no obligation to provide individualized feedback or judges' scorecards for unsuccessful applications.

Intellectual Property and Licensing

• Your Rights: You retain full ownership of the intellectual property contained within your submission.

• Our License to Use: By entering the awards, you grant Green Council a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use your company name, corporate logo, and approved non-confidential summaries of your submission for marketing, promotional materials, press releases, and during the awards ceremony.
